Bridging and Access

English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS): If you meet our academic requirement but have not quite met our English language requirement, you are able to undertake the required amount of English language training in preparation for successful entry into the Foundation Studies Program, Diplomas Programme or the Masters Programme.
Foundation Studies Program: is a pre-University qualification. It is designed to prepare students for further study in the Undergraduate degree Programmes.
Diplomas Program: is alternative pathway into a university degree. Courses are the equivalent of the 1st year of the CQUniversity degree. Upon successful completion of the Diploma Degree Programme you will transfer into the 2nd year of your selected CQUniversity Bachelor degree programmes. Consist of: Diploma of Creative Enterprise; Diploma of Information Systems; Diploma of Information Technology; Diploma of Business Administration

CENTRAL QUEENSLAND UNIVERSITY- ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Foundation Studies: successfully completed the equivalent of an Australian Year 11; IELTS 5.5.
Diploma: successfully completed the equivalent of an Australian Year 12; IELTS 5.5.
Undergraduate: successfully completed Year 12. An approved University Foundation or formal Australian Certificate IV program can also be taken to meet this entry requirement. Additionally, some programs do require previous study in a particular subject area. IELTS 6.0.
If you have not completed the equivalent of an Australian Year 12, you might be able to gain undergraduate admission by completing a pathway program (Foundation or Diploma Program).
Postgraduate: successfully completed a bachelor degree. Additionally, some programs require previous study in a particular subject area. IELTS 6.0.
