However, you are allowed to work 20 hours a week. The second concern of students is the living costs. If you are the member of the national students' league, you might reduce your costs significantly, because it costs you a half in buying books, stationery, clothes, foods, entertainment and travels. Students who study in UK more than 6 months are eligible to have free national health care.

You must have good English skills in writing, speaking, reading, and listening before your studying because they are really necessary during your education in U.K. Your ESL will be in use all of your time in U.K and it is measured by IELTS or TOEFL scales.

If you want to be an university student when you just finish your high school or you are a freshman in your homeland, you must attend the A level or the pre-university program before applying to the university. If you want to join the post-graduate programs, you must earn a degree which is equivalent to the U.K. bachelor.
